Following fee schedule EFFECTIVE JAN 15th, 2021

Please note that we do not accept ANY medical health insurance. Payment for services is expected at the time of the visit.
$300/hour with a Half-Hour Minimum ($150) billed at the time of scheduling appointment, billed in Increments of 15 Minutes after the First Half-Hour ($75 per Quarter-Hour). Unless you have records for Dr. Ghei to review that are greater than what would fit in a 1 inch binder, this charge is usually only $150.
Average new patient consult is 1.5 hours ($1500.00) virtual appointment with Dr. Ghei but could range up to to 3 hours (180 minutes) or more, depending upon the severity of your clinical condition and is further billed in 15 min increments after the first 2 hours. We bill at $750 per hour in increments of 15 minutes($187.50 per 15 minutes) after the first 2 hours.
Please do keep at least 2-3 hours time allocation for the first visit in case extra time is needed for any reason.
First follow-up visit usually last about 90 minutes (either virtual or by phone), but could last anywhere from 120-180 minutes or even more (especially the first follow-up visit which is usually the longest). Subsequent f/u visits are shorter unless your case is complicated.
First Virtual Follow-up visit is billed at $1500 for the first 2 hours and thereafter billed in 15 minute increments ($187.50 per quarter hour or 15 minutes). Please note that these times are only estimates and vary per case.
Other subsequent Virtual follow up visits (after the first follow up visit) are billed at the following rates:
30 minutes: $375
45 minutes: $562.50
60 minutes: $750
Every 15 minutes billed thereafter (after first 90 minutes) at $187.50 every 15 minutes
Phone consults for follow up patients are billed at the same rate as other virtual consults as mentioned above.
This is when Dr. Ghei goes over the results of the tests conducted at the initial consultation which are available (if some results are not back by this consult then they will be additionally reviewed at the next follow up appointment). How long this first follow up visit is dependent on the case and the amount of material to review, but is usually 120-180 minutes(2-3 hours) long and billed at the same rates as listed above.
All charges for all visits (Initial and follow-up) will have a 3.5% credit card processing fee added to the consult fees if paid by credit card.
Phone consults for follow up patients are billed at the same rate as other virtual consults at the rates listed above.
These are usually anywhere between 45-90 minute long. Again, please note that these are only estimates and the severity of your problem dictates the time needed for your optimum care.
How often Dr. Ghei will need to do a consult with you depends upon your particular situation and the severity of your illness. Generally patients need a consult with Dr. Ghei at least once in 6weeks (or sooner) for the first 3 months of treatment, after which in our experience most patients feel well and frequency of follow can usually be reduced and follow-ups need lesser time. Some situations like severe toxicity and long-standing diseases, advanced diabetes, advanced heart disease, autoimmune disease, cancer may need longer treatment.

CASE REVIEW/ SECOND OPINION:
In case you are looking for a second opinion, or just are interested in speaking with Dr. Ghei about her opinion regarding your clinical symptoms or your health diagnosis, or just sharing about your specific health needs, she is very happy to do so at this appointment via phone only. She will share her opinion, her advise and her expertise. In case this appointment is by phone only, then she will not be keeping a chart with your information, or review any intake questionnaires, or order any labs, or prescribe any drugs or supplements during or after this phone call. THIS WILL NOT ESTABLISH A DOCTOR-PATIENT RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN DR. GHEI AND YOU.
Payment ($600 for a minimum 60 minute) for this phone consult/ second opinion /case review will be processed with your credit card at the time the appointment is made. After 60 minutes of such an appointment in case you need more time, you will be billed in 5 minute increments at $50 per 5 minutes.
Subsequent follow-up phone consults for opinion/review : 30 minute minimum at $325. After first 30 minutes the further billing for these consults will be in 5 minute increments at $50 per 5 minutes.
Please note that we do not accept medical health insurance. Payment for services is expected at the time (or before the visit in case of phone consults) of the visit.
Our office will however provide you, upon request, the completed Superbill with all the necessary information and CPT & ICD-9 Codes (ie, Procedure & Diagnosis Codes) needed for you to file to your insurance for reimbursement for our medical virtual consult services which establish a doctor-patient relationship. No superbills will be provided for second opinions/ case reviews as described above.
No superbills will be provided for Medicare patients.
We encourage you to call your health insurance before making your appointment with Dr. Ghei and confirm your Out of Network coverage for medical consultation visit.
Payment is due at the time of scheduling an appointment for any of the above mentioned Ayurvedic Mind-Body Consultations.
During follow up sessions, your progress from the initial consultation will be reviewed and recommendations will be fine-tuned to keep you on the healing path.
